Though I'd previously seen Tom act aggressively toward people on the street, he responded well to our calm environment. "I saw your sign said 'caring conversation'. I desperately need to speak with someone." I invited him to come to the centre whenever he needed a more peaceful place to study. She had been exploring Christianity online and needed someone IRL to speak with. He shared his painful search for an identity which has led him to pursue solutions that have damaged his body. He is learning to find His true identity in Christ.
